CGIT History
CGIT is a non-denominational group started by the YWCA in 1915, when women were fighting for the right to vote. At this time, a boy’s group named Tuxis was running, and it is supposed that the girls wanted to have a group for them too.
You can read more about CGIT and their history on the CGIT website.
