Editorial Question
In my next editorial, I will be writing about the 2011 federal election. I am asking each candidate:
Why should the people living in Omemee and area vote for your party?
I will be providing links to each candidate's Website, Facebook and Twitter account, and email to encourage voters to contact each leader and ask questions. Each candidate may have 200 words to answer and include 2 links to support their answer. Order of answers published will be determined by random.org. Each answer will be published in a separate posting which will auto send to Twitter and Facebook.
Social Media Tips
Delegation is one of the most important qualities of a leader-delegate your social media work to a youth member who has an interest in social media marketing.
Save time on your social media by setting up a blog that automatically republishes to Facebook and Twitter through networked blogs.
Be sure you are using a Facebook politician's page with settings that work for you, and your constituents. It is important to have even a limited Facebook presence. You can set your settings extremely tight so that only you are able to publish or allow unlimited access the choice is yours.
Ongoing political posts
We are offering each political party leader in our riding the opportunity to publish articles in the Omemee Pigeon eFlyer, addressing issues of importance to the people living in the Village of Omemee and area. I will issue you an invitation to participate as an author at the address you have provided. The day of post publication, will be determined using random.org
Format
Each political party may publish up to one article per week. The article should be between 300-500 words, and may contain the following links: one small picture link, 2 links within the body, and one profile link in the bio or byline. The articles will be published first on Omemee Drafts - a site that can only be viewed by the authors invited to Omemee Pigeon eFlyer so they can be checked for SEO and accessibility before posting. The only changes that will be made are spelling corrections and accessibility (ie phototagging)
I highly recommend using Windows Live Writer as a free time saving tool for online writing. I post other helpful tips and Free tools on http://BloggedTips.blogspot.com and http://Minuteto Market.blogspot.com Please let me know, if I you have any questions about creating or submitting the articles.
Audience

In addition, the Omemee Pigeon eFlyer aims to provide information of interest and importance to the people living in the village of Omemee and the surrounding area, making Omemee and area a better place to both live and visit. Note: Many of the voters of Omemee and Victoria County were not happy with amalgamation and becoming the City of Kawartha Lakes. Therefore, I would like to suggest that it is in your party's best interest to address issues specific to Omemee and area or refer to Emily Township,or Victoria County.Wishing you all the best for a successful campaign,
