Don't miss out on a great opportunity to showcase your special event to our visitors in 2012! To ensure that your special event is included on the tourism website www.explorekawarthalakes.com as well as in the upcoming Map and Events Guide, your assistance is required. As we populate our Calendar of Events with your 2012 signature events, local flavour events, and any other events that would be of interest to our visitors, we want to make sure we include all the special events and festivals happening around Kawartha Lakes during 2012.Kawartha Lakes Event Submission Deadline is Friday, December 2nd at 4:00pm!Kawartha Lakes Online Events Calendar Guidelines
Kawartha Lakes Online Calendar of Events provides a promotional vehicle for non-profit groups, community organizations in Kawartha Lakes to share information about special events open to the public that is taking place within the municipality. It is easy and you can do it yourself, by managing your entries directly.
The following guidelines apply:
- Events must be of interest and open to the general public
- Event postings must include the sponsoring organization, time, location, and contact information, including phone number, email and/or website
- There must be an element of entertainment and/or information at the event
- Event must be taking place within the boundaries of the City of Kawartha Lakes
- If there is a fee involved, that should also be included in the listing
- Attention must be given to recurring events which will need to be entered by the organizer for each individual calendar day of the event.
So don't delay, get your event posted to the Explore Kawartha Lakes website so that you can take full advantage of upcoming tourist season!
