Christmas Crooks Targeting Christmas Envelopes!
In the hustle and bustle of people coming and going from homes at Christmas time, locking the door sometimes gets overlooked,much to the delight of thieves. Peterborough Police Services have issued a reminder to everyone to please remember to lock up!
Peterborough Break and Enter
December 17th, 2011 between 2400 -0700 hrs a break and enter occurred at a Wildlark Drive residence while the home owners were asleep. An unknown suspect entered the residence through an unlocked rear door. The suspect searched through the Christmas envelopes before taking the keys to the vehicles in the driveway and searched them for cash. An unknown quantity of cash was obtained from the envelopes. A small quantity of cash was obtained from the vehicles.

- Prevent crime by keeping aware of your surroundings.
