Update – Bethune Street Stabbing Incident
Police spoke to a number of witnesses throughout the day, who were at a party at 576 Bethune Street when a disturbance broke out. As a result of the continued investigation an arrest has been made.
Micah Drynan Facing 4 Charges
Micah Drynan, 19 yrs of Brock Street, Peterborough has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous to the public and breach of probation. He is being held in custody for court on the 29th of April.
The victim in this incident who received multiple stab wounds has been released from hospital.
Police Seek More Weapons Wielders
Police are still continuing this investigation to confirm if any other persons of interest are responsible for other assaults that are believed to have occurred.
Police are likely to be at 576 Bethune Street for the next couple of days processing the crime scene.
