Omemee Area Man Missing!
Please see breaking update.Kawartha Lakes Police Service is appealing to the public in an effort to locate Donald VanHalteren, 51 years. Don uncharacteristically left his family home in the area of Highway 7 and Highway 36 during the early morning hours today, and has not been heard from since.
Donald is believed to be on foot or may seek alternate transportation.
Anyone who has seen Mr. VanHalteren or may know of his whereabouts is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service immediately. Mr. VanHalteren is of no threat or danger to our community.
