Peterborough Community Police, in cooperation with Kitchen Cabinet Solutions and Boston Pizza, are giving away free pizzas, $10 pizza coupons and $500 in free Blue Jays tickets supplied by FM 90.5, home of the Blue Jays.
“All three companies shared in the costs of the tickets and prizes as a way to put a positive perspective on an important safety issue: wearing your seatbelts” agreed business owners Lee Perry of Kitchen Cabinet Solutions, and Cory Luedtke of Boston Pizza, in a joint statement.Today At 2 PM – See The First Driver Get Blue Jay Tickets And Pizza
It starts at 2 pm today at the corner of St. Mary’s and Goodfellow Road. The first pair of Blue Jay tickets, and the first pizza will be given away to the first lucky driver who gets stopped during the Blitz with everyone in the vehicle buckled up.
Jays tickets, pizzas, and pizza coupons will be given away today through Saturday, during the remaining days of the Seatbelt Blitz; at random points in the city to randomly chosen drivers found with everyone in the vehicle buckled up. The Peterborough Community Police stop 200-300 vehicles a day during the Blitz.
