Blue Motorcycle Missing!
Kawartha Lakes Police Service seeks our community’s assistance in locating a 2001 Yamaha YZ426F off-road motorcycle. Thursday May 17th, the motorcycle was reported stolen.
Sometime overnight Wednesday May 16th 2012, someone forcibly entered three storage containers situated on an industrial property on St. George Street in the Town of Lindsay.
The motorcycle valued at $2500 was removed from one of the storage containers.
The only identifiable feature of the blue motorcycle was the fact that it had a new gas tank recently installed.
Anyone with information as to the person responsible for this theft, or information leading to the recovery of the motorcycle is asked to call the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service at (705) 324-5252 or the Kawartha Haliburton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
