A 43 year old woman from the former Township of Ops found herself handcuffed in her own living room after allegedly driving impaired. The Kawartha Lakes Police Service received information of a possible impaired driver leaving a Cambridge Street residence around 7pm June 29th.
After being unable to locate the vehicle, police officers attended the address of the owner and found the car parked in the driveway. Roseanne LEACH was arrested inside her residence and charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80 mg of alcohol. She is compelled to appear in court on August 9th.
