Peterborough Lakefield Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Panagiotis aka Peter Theofanous, 82 years old. He was last seen Thursday afternoon (July 12) leaving Royal Gardens Residence located on Clonsilla Avenue, on foot. He is described as 5'7", approximately 115 lbs, thin/frail, receding grey hair, brown eyes and clean shaven. He is likely wearing a red checkered shirt, grey pants, a light grey jacket and carrying a small brown suitcase. He suffers from dementia, has a very thick Greek accent and may be trying to return to the GTA or Greece. Anyone with information is asked to call the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service at 705-876-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
