Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating the theft of $1000 worth of truck batteries from Brasiers Truck Sales on Highway 35 south of Lindsay. Sometime during the overnight hours of July 9th, someone entered the locked compound with the aid of bolt cutters and removed 30 used truck batteries. The theft would have required a truck or possibly a trailer to facilitate the removal of the batteries.
Anyone with information relating to this theft is asked to call the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service at (705) 324-5252 or the Kawartha Haliburton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
