Two Omemee Residents Took 2012 C.N.E. Second Place Living History Award!
Two Omemee residents will be presented with the Re-enactors Shield Award this October at a Banquet in Toronto. At the 91st Annual Warrior's Day Parade at the C.N.E. in Toronto, two Omemee residents, Sandra Murray and Mike Gray took the second place re-enactors /living history award in the contingent judging.
Dressed in authentic World War II uniforms and equipment, Gray and Murray represented the Memorial Military Museum in Campbellford.
They will be presented with the Re-enactors Shield award at a banquet in Toronto in October.
