- John Popowich, 64, of Omemee, and formerly of Port Perry, dearly loved husband of Vicky, has recently gone home to be with the Lord.

Loving father of Johnny and his wife Kim of Innisfil; Lynne and her husband Jeff Wilson of Guelph; and, Scott and his wife Nicole of Nestleton. Loved Poppa of Kristy, Heather, Andy, Alexis, Abby, Jonathan, Reyna and Hope; and great grandfather of Jada. Dear brother of Robert and his wife Joanne of Port Perry. For years, John served as vice-president of our Full Gospel Businessmen's chapter. He had boundless energy and enthusiasm. He had a heart for needy people everywhere. We will all continue to be inspired by his life; and we look forward to seeing him soon. |
The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship of Oshawa is a local Chapter of the FGBMFI, a non-profit, non-denominational organization of Christian men who have joined together in an effort to call people everywhere to a living faith in God. By its very nature and dedication, the FGBMF is a service arm of the entire church, serving all churches which can gain by having their men stirred and inspired for greater Christian service and enriched by Christian fellowship. It seeks only in the advancement of the cause of Jesus Christ having no ambition of its own other than promoting the work of the Lord.
The FGBMF of Oshawa services Durham Region and is open to all men and women. Membership is optional.
