Hi there.... I sent this to all the US TV networks today and the White House regarding the school massacre and the NRA response...you're welcome to publish this....
I'm from Canada......deeply disturbing....unfortunately when the head of the NRA comes out and condemns video games and movies and in the same breath says that the only way to confront a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun, and that there should be armed guards in all the schools just says it all about the deeply (edited) US. Your pro-war stance to protect US industrialists' overseas investments and access to oil projects a very thin veil over your so-called efforts to expand democracy, and this all funnels down your gun laws and violence in the US. You should take a hard look at yourself. This is how we see you.
We have the same video games and watch the same movies. If I was Obama, as he doesn't have another election to protect, his legacy would be to lay his (edited) on the line and go after automatic weapons AND handguns. Speaking of movies, one of my favorites is The American President with Michael Douglas, where he comes to his senses at the end to go after them both. That movie was released in 1995, 17 years ago. If I were Obama, I would contact all the networks such as yourself and have them blast that over the airwaves for the next year. If movies are affecting reality like this moron from the NRA suggests, then shove this 32MM reel (edited).
Sincerely,
Steve McCullough
