Lindsay Resident Defrauded $300
Tuesday February 19, 2013 an Elgin Street resident called City of Kawartha Lakes Police around noon after she received a telephone call from an individual claiming he could reduce her credit card interest rate. After giving him her banking information over the telephone, she became concerned and contacted her bank. She was missing $200 prior to the bank freezing her account.
