When Omemee Pigeon eFlyer needed a logo, we searched tgrough public domain images for pigeons The photo used for ths pigeon was from a World War I photo showing a message arriving by Pigeon at 'The Front'.
We used Picnik - free photo editing app previously available through Google - to crop, filter the photo, then add a border and caption.
Unfortunately Picnik is no longer available for photo editing, but Picasa has many of the capabilities as Picnik .
