Driving Under Suspension? Speed - Brilliant Idea!

April 15, 2013 an OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling at 112 km/h on Highway 35 near Bethany Hills Road., within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The subsequent vehicle stop resulted in the officer determining that the driver was suspended from driving. As a result of the investigation Charvel GUSTAR, 23 years of age, of Orono, was charged with speeding and driving while suspended both contrary to the HTA. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on June 11, 2013.  (CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) –A vehicle stop recently conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver facing two charges under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
