Omemee Historical Society Writers Contest Winners Announced!

Omemee Writers Contest  Winners Show High Level of Professionalism

April 20, 2013 Coronation Hall Omemee featured the Omemee Historical Society Annual Writers Contest winners reading their works back-back from ten to noon, including two grade six entries.
Four writers, Katherine Vanderzwet, Carole Ritter, Edna Carew and Catherine Littlejohn, had works available for purchase at the event. Snacks and used books were available at the bookfair. 
Copies of the Novice entries are available for $3 at NP Media Business Solutions, to writers and Society members, but may not be published without permission. Copies of the SR anthology will be about $7, with the same rules applying.
'Senior stories showed a very high rate of professionalism.'shared John Jones, organizer of the event, adding '$579 in prize money was dispersed in both categories.'
