CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON. A local male faces alcohol related charges after the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received several driving complaints regarding his vehicle.
May 24, 2013 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP responded to several complaints received regarding a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Highway 7 within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The suspect vehicle rear ended another vehicle prior to police attendance.
Upon arrival on scene the police officer was able to determine that the driver had been consuming alcohol and the driver was subsequently arrested and charged.
James HENNEKAM, 74 years of age, of Mariposa Township, was charged withimpaired driving and driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on June 13, 2013.
