Drunk Driver Navigates 20 km Through Omemee Before OPP Arrest!
A driver arrested in an alcohol related offence managed to drive about 20 kilometers before the police were able to track them down. Thankfully there were no pedestrians or other drivers injured before the OPP could make an arrest.Did you see this drunk driver?

– On October 17, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted in regards to a vehicle being driven in an erratic manner on Highway 7 near Golden Mile Road. An officer was able to locate the vehicle near Emily Park Road and subsequently stopped the vehicle. As a result of the investigation Heather MEADE, 40 years of age, of Peterborough, was arrested and charged with driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on November 6, 2014.
