February 23 2015 Stolen Truck Discovered Smouldering at Mt. Nebo Omemee!

VEHICLE STOLEN
(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) –February 23, 2015 the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to a vehicle fire on Mount Nebo Road. Upon arrival on scene it was determined that the vehicle, which was just smoldering at the time, had been there for most of the night. Investigation revealed that the vehicle owner was not yet aware of the fact that his 2002 F150 pickup truck was missing from his driveway.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
