Mr. Ed Hale Cancer Battle Ended!
Mr. Ed Hale, former owner of Hale's TV and Repairs ended his valiant 11 year battle with cancer this morning between 7 and 8 am.
Janet Hale, Ed's wife of almost 50 years, shared that a celebration of Ed's life will be held at Trinity United Church Omemee, where they have attended church for many years. There will not be a wake.
Ed's cheerful face and contemplative kind, quiet manner will be truly missed by many in our village, and further afield.
In addition to his skills with electronics, many enjoyed his singing voice as a part of the Trinity United Church Choir.
Ed Hale was an active participant in many community projects including Pioneer Days, and an avid recycler - wanting to make the world a better place than how he found it.

While there is now ease for Ed's body, our thoughts and prayers are with the Hale family during this difficult transition.
Lovingly remembered by Russel Hale, Jennifer Hale, Sarah and her husband Brent Burns, and also Adelaide Burns, his grand-daughter.A private family interment ceremony will take place later in May.
