#ONpoli Wynne Report Has Free Ad for American Mag in Premier USA Report?

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne Reports on USA Visit!

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is back from a tour promoting Ontario to our closest and largest trading partner to the south- the USA. What did she promote?
Here is the press release from Premier Wynne.

Premier Wynne Showcases Ontario’s Leadership and Expertise to Province’s Largest Trading Partner Premier

Kathleen Wynne returned from the United States today, where she visited New York City and Washington, D.C. to strengthen cross-border relationships and highlight the diverse expertise Ontario has to offer.
The Premier met with business leaders and government decision-makers to discuss the benefits of doing business with Ontario, as well as the province's leadership on issues like climate change, infrastructure and equality. She also delivered a number of keynote addresses where she highlighted Ontario's strengths, including a thriving innovation economy and the province's position as the North American leader in foreign capital investment, ahead of Texas and California.
While in New York, the Premier presented Ontario's economic plan to the Canadian Association of New York. At a luncheon for female executives, the Premier delivered an address on the importance of women in leadership and highlighted Ontario's campaign to end sexual violence and harassment.
In Washington, D.C., Premier Wynne met with Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy. They discussed the protection of the Great Lakes and how Ontario's experience reducing greenhouse gas emissions -- including the elimination of coal-fired power -- makes the province an ideal partner in international efforts to combat climate change. On the final day of the tour, the Premier met with Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama.
The trip wrapped up with a reception to raise the profile of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, where Premier Wynne spoke about the Games as a chance to showcase our dynamic, innovative province and strengthen ties across the Americas.
Increasing Ontario's presence on the international stage is part of the government's economic plan. The four-part plan is building Ontario up by investing in people's talents and skills, making the largest investment in public infrastructure in Ontario's history, creating a dynamic, innovative environment where business thrives, and building a secure savings plan so everyone can afford to retire.

Ontario Premier Supporting American Publication?
Our 2 cents:
We were surprised to find the press release contained a link to a third party report giving free advertising to the American owned Financial Times.
In the press release we received, the words "foreign capital investment" had a direct link to a pdf report issued by The Financial Times- The FDi report 2015: Global Greenfield Investment trends.

Premier Wynne posting Link to American Company

We found this decidedly odd because the usual press releases contain links set apart at the bottom of the release for additional information.
So why the spammy insertion?
Is the Premier asking for links to American companies be inserted in press releases, or is this simply a misguided employee?
What do you think about this press release?
