Join in the Family Fun at Gamiing Nature Centre, Omemee, Ontario!
June 11 th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Gamiing Nature Centre presents the 11th Annual Summer Lakeshore Music Festival at 1884 Pigeon Lake Road, Omemee, Ontario. The Summer Lakeshore Music Festival, a Fundraiser for Gamiing Nature Centre EcoGuardian Programs, is a fun, educational experience, where visitors can find out more about a wide range of commercial and non-profit environmental organizations, products and ideas. It's an exciting, informative day for the whole family with numerous exceptional environmental exhibits, fun entertainment, great wild edible food, hiking trails to explore, and games for kids of all ages.Great Regional Performers Include MPP Ric Johnson!
The 2011 lineup of performers includes:Terry and Rick (Rick Johnson, our MPP) with a great children's program, The Gamiing puppet show 'In the Forest', Speakers from the Kawartha Conservation and Trent Severn Waterway,Walter Bartholomeu,The Dulcettes, The Wildflower Band, Che Saunders, Houndog Steve, Steve Maddigan and Friends, Craig McPherson,The Rye Street Band,and The Enforcers.

Gamiing's own chefs de cuisine are preparing picnic lunches using Kawartha's local, organic and wild edible food which can be enjoyed at the performance or anywhere along the trails in the forest. Fruit wines from Kawartha Country Winery and organic beers from local breweries, as well as finger foods, and dinner of wild edibles all from Gamiing's property will also be featured.
Admission to the Summer Lakeshore Music Festival is by donation; all ages are welcome.
