Downtown Drug Enforcement
During the evening hours of March 27th, 2012 members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Services Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Canine Unit were investigating drug trafficking in the downtown area of Lindsay. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 47 year old Coboconk woman identified as Kathleen SPROUL for possession of an undisclosed quantity of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking along with possession of marihuana, fentanyl and oxycodone. The total value of drugs seized is approximately $2000.
Ms. Sproul was released from custody and is required to attend court on May 3rd 2012 to answer to the above mentioned allegations.
