by Diane Webber
Monday,April 16, 2012 Terry Hotner of Hotners Garden Centre brings his Hydrangea 101 presentation to the Omemee and District Horticulture meeting, and you are invited! Terry will be showing photos, and telling about some of the newest varieties of Hydrangea -as well as favourites from the last few years. Terry will also share his expertise on pruning, soil conditions, location and care of your hydrangea. He will touch on “foil wrapped' hydrangea, fertilizers and hydrangea coloration.
Meet Terry Hotner
Terry grew up in Brooklin, Ontario, where he worked on the family fruit and vegetable farm. As the business expanded to sell whole sale plants, and then to a retail garden centre, he learned hands-on how to operate a family business. He and his wife Tammy found their dream in 2006, when they opened their own family business in Peterborough – Hotner’s Garden Centre.
This special presentation will take place at the Omemee and District Horticultural Society meeting at Trinity United Church, Omemee 7:00 p.m. – April 16, 2012.
