OPP INVESTIGATING OMEMEE BREAK IN!
Ontario Provincial Police Kawartha Lakes is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred in the Omemee area.
May 30, 2012 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP attended a residence on Colborne Street in Omemee in response to a break in. A workshop located behind the residence was broken into and drums and various tools were stolen.
The OPP’s Forensic Identification Unit was attending the scene to assist with the investigation.
Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.caand submitting an anonymous tip online.
