Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) marine unit has been patrolling the City’s waterways! and would like to remind boaters that there is a zero tolerance approach to alcohol and vessels.
July 6, 2012 the OPP marine unit approached a vessel being operated on Pigeon Lake, and observed an open container of liquor.
As a result of this interaction, Viera CHERRINGTON, 48 years of age, of Grimsby is charged with having liquor in open container in other than a licensed premises under the Liquor Licence Act.
July 7, 2012 the OPP marine unit approached a vessel being operated on Shadow Lake and observed an open container of liquor.
As a result of this interaction, Daniel STUBBS, 19 years of age, of Pickering is charged with operating a boat under way with open container of liquor under the Liquor Licence Act.
