'Our annual event is open to anyone who wishes to participate.' shared Mark Thompson Ride Captain, adding 'You don't need to be a Mason to join in."Mark is celebrating 25 years as a member of the Masonic organizatation. Currently from Bolsover and now in Kirkfield Lodge, as Ride Captain, Mark looked after the route and lead the ride.
The charity ride drew participants from across Ontario.Wendy Hutton from Seaforth, west of Stratford, kindly filmed our interview with Mark.
'My husband Barry, has been friends with Mark for 25 years.' shared Wendy Hutton adding, 'It's a great opportunity to vist friends, and we're happy to support the charity.'
Scott MacEachern, of Omemee, has been participating in the run for three years now.
'Every year we pick a different charity to support,'shared Scott adding' This year I enjoyed being part of the committee, and creating the website to promote the event.'
Paul Laver,chair of the organizing committee for the Masonic charity ride, noted,
