Ontario Provincial Police Force is currently investigating a break, enter and theft at a seasonal residence that occurred sometime over the winter.
April 17, 2013 an officer from the City of Kawartha detachment of the OPP attended a seasonal residence located on Birch Point Drive in the former Emily Township in response to a break, enter and theft.
Items stolen from the residence include jewellery, a Panasonic PV-GS70 DVD camera, a chainsaw and an outboard motor.
Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
