Plan a 'Spring Day Trip' with Mom and enjoy the picturesque scenery of Bethany, Pontypool, and surrounding area, the southern gateway to the Kawarthas.
This free, self-guided tour is in the beautiful rolling hills Oak Ridges region of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Come visit 11 artisans in their studios on the weekend of May 11th & 12th, from 10 am - 5 pm each day. Just a little over an hour drive from Toronto or 45 minutes from Whitby. This eclectic group of artists all live within a 30 minute driving radius of each other, and offer a truly diverse array of work. Admission is Free!Enjoy Arts Demonstrations
Whether you are interested in copper and silver jewellery, animal portraits, weaving, soapstone carvings, leather sculpting, sculptural fountains, wildlife art in oils, acrylics and watercolours or photography, you are sure to have a great time! There will be demonstrations at some of the studios so that you can get a first hand look at how truly talented these amazing artists are.
