Warrant Issued in Violent Robbery!

Justin Smith,age 25, Peterborough is wanted in connection with a violent  assault and robbery which took place December 18, 2011.

Peterborough Student Violently Assaulted

December 18, 2011,a Peterborough resident was assaulted, and had his school bag, personal belongings and clothing taken by two suspects.  The 27 year old male victim who is known to the suspects, was then driven out of the city and left in Peterborough County where he was located by the Ontario Provincial Police.

First Suspect Arrested - Geoff Smith

December 18, 2011 the PLCPS arrested one of the suspects Geoff Smith age 21 years of Trailview Drive, Peterborough.  Geoff Smith was held in custody for a court appearannce on December 19th to answer to the charges of robbery with violence, utter threats and assault.
The investigation is continuing and the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service have issued a warrant for the offences of robbery with violence, utter threats and assault for Justin Smith age 25 years of Peterborough.
