Missing Teen - Jodie Judd Safe: Area Parents Relieved

Peterborough Teen Missing Since May 11th Prompts flurry of Facebook Postings

Missing Teen
Early this morning, Omemee Pigeon eFlyer, spotted a notice in the Peterborough Examiner that police were seeking missing teen, Jodie Judd. We sent the following message over Twitter, which prompted a flurry of social media activity.
Teen missing in #Ptbo #Ontario http://goo.gl/swNNR 5'3", 140 lbs br-blonde shoulder-length hair blue eyes. wearing plaid hooded sweatshirt
A parent, who lives a block from where the teen had last been seen, sprang into action, asking:"why wouldn't they post a photo? That description probably describes 20% of teens.....:" adding,"Tell the Examiner to find a photo. I have a teen, he has friends....." moments later, She returned with an update, alerting us that 100.5 KRUZ FM had posted a picture, and she and her friends were spreading the word on Facebook, saying: "thanks for posting about missing teen, I'm putting it out all over too. I am lucky, I know where MY teen is."
Searching online for further news updates, revealed
alerts and reports for other teens who were missing, or who were being mourned.
Thankfully, late this afternoon, Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Services issued a release stating the teen had been found "safe and in good health".
Omemee Pigeon eFlyer, joins with local police services in thanking all who assisted in attempts to aid in this search. We are glad to hear this young teen made it home safely, and equally glad to know we are in touch with a community that cares.
