This inspiring demonstration, Saturday July 23rd, 2011, from 10 to 11 a.m., is an introduction to non-riding interaction,  and ground games with horses. Be inspired! Be emotionally satisfied! Let the horse be your guide! Find out how Greenshire’s horse, Angel, pictured left, teaches Alicia,  to be a strong yet fair leader.

Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning

Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning -F.E.E.L. programs are a very new learning concept closely related to Equine-Assisted Therapy, which was profiled on the Dr. Oz show not to long ago. Two of Greenshire farm partners, Kaileen St. Antoine and Cindy MacDonald, are  certified F.E.E.L. practitioners. F.E.E.L. programs non-riding, experiential programs in which the horse is the teacher,do not require previous horse experience. Greenshire Eco farms calls it horseplay because it is fun, while at the same time- inspiring and emotionally satisfying.
‘Before I went through the experience myself, I was sceptical and unsure but the workshop opened me to a new way of learning about myself.’stated Julie E., Toronto, Ontario, adding 'I did not expect to be so moved and to gain so much insight into myself.’
These workshops can help people break through barriers, and heal from deep emotional wounds as well.
‘The sudden loss of my beloved husband shattered my life, and the lessons you taught help me pause and realize I am still alive and can move on,’ Pam M., Blackstock, Ontario shared adding,'More important I can still have a life and be happy!’
F.E.E.L. helps you learn about yourself and another species,in addition to authentic partnering , through interaction and games.
