Kawartha Lakes Police Service Seeking Public Assistance!

Kawartha Lakes Police Service is seeking information from the public following two thefts that occurred in Lindsay over the weekend. Anyone with information about these incidents, or any other crime is asked to contact the Kawartha Lakes Police Service 324 5252 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 TIPS(8477).

4 License Plates Stolen

November 7, 2011 the Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called to an Adelaide Street South residence after  victims noticed the front license plates had been removed from 4 vehicles. The license plates were stolen sometime overnight from November 6 – November 7, 2011.

9.9 Mercury Motor Stolen

November 7, 2011 the Kawartha Lakes Police Service was called to a Lester Drive residence regarding the theft of a boat and motor. Prior to calling police, the victim located his boat, but the 9.9 Mercury motor that had been attached to it, was gone. The victim reports that the theft took place between the afternoon of November 6, 2011 and the morning of November 7, 2011.
