Sometime since November 2012, thieves stole the victim's Dyna Vox communication device, charger and wireless modem valued at over $10,000. No sign of forced entry to the home had been reported but there had been a high volume of persons entering the home involved in its renovation as well as Therapists and Personal Support Workers assisting the victim who had suffered a severe brain trauma as a result of a motor vehicle collision in 2011. MNR Trailer Heisted From Trent University Compound

Sunday December 16, 2012 suspects broke into the Trent University and Ministry of Natural Resources fenced storage compound located on Nassau Mills Road sometime between 2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Once inside, suspects stole a trailer from the Ministry of Natural Resources compound. It is unknown at this time what property was sitting on the trailer and total value of the theft is still being determined. Sunday September 9, 2012 (Douro-Dummer Twp., ON) – At 12:24 A.M. officers from Peterborough County OPP responded to a Break-In to a Rishor Avenue address, just east of Young's Point. Thieves forced entry into a residence causing extensive damage and stole a jewellery box and a safe containing a quantity of jewellery. The suspects then transported the property to the lakefront and fled the scene by boat. The value and description of the property stolen is not available the investigation is continuing. Substantial theft from the residence .

Robbery WItness Sought!
Peterborough Convenience Store Robbery Witness Sought!
Crimestoppers are looking for the witness to a Mac’s Milk Robbery.Can you help?December 2 , 2012 at approximately 0134 hrs Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service received a call for service regarding the Mac’s Milk at McDonnel and Aylmer Street being robbed. The unknown suspect used two knives to approach and force the clerk to open the cash drawer and allow access to a quantity of cash. The suspect concealed his identity during the offence, however, the following is the best description provided by the clerk. Male suspect is white skin, 50-60 years of age, 5’3 – 5’6, medium build, light brown or sandy blonde hair, facial stubble, narrow eyes and a pointed nose. The suspect was wearing dark toque, camo green/grey puffy winter jacket, blue jeans, black gloves and boots. During the offence an unknown citizen attended the store, saw what was happening, and left. Police are requesting this person to come forward and advise police what they observed. I.E.Weldon SS Damages - Police Seek Blue Vehicle !
November 3rd, 2012 at 12:15 pm, the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service entered into an investigation of damage at IE Weldon School, located at 24 Weldon Road, City of Kawartha Lakes. The damage consisted of a fence which was partially knocked over and damage to the aluminum siding on the woodshop outbuilding on the school property. It is believed that this damage occurred during the evening of November 2nd, or morning of the November 3rd. Evidence at the scene suggests that a dark blue Honda vehicle with severe damage to the rear bumper and taillights was involved in causing this damage. The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public with any information into this incident. Two Boating Related thefts Under OPP Investigation!
OPP INVESTIGATING THEFTS
CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON. – have you seen this boat trailer and motor? City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating two separate thefts.
On September 24, 2012 the OPP attended a residence on Sparrow Court in the former Mariposa Township in response to a complaint regarding the theft of a trailer. The 40 foot trailer, a 2011 Cyclone 385 with licence plate #E5111M, had been stored in the driveway.
Also on September 24, 2012 the OPP received information relating to the theft of a boat motor that was stolen from a boat in the water in Lake Dalrymple. Stolen was a 2011 Mercury outboard 8HP motor, valued at approximately $2000.

STOLEN! Ont. Lic. ANBE349 Grey 4-door 2002 Toyota Camry !
Vehicle Stolen from Female Occupant!
02 September, 2012 at approximately 1200 hrs, a female was sitting in her car waiting for friends on Victory Drive near Dobbin Ave. Peterborough.;A male approached the female and asked her for a ride, which she declined. The male then walked away. The same male returned and opened the car door and tookk hold of the victim's arm and pulled her from the car. The male then got in the car and drove away. The female was not physically injured in this incident.
The vehicle,a 2002 Toyota Camry, 4-door, grey in colour with Ontario Licence plates ANBE349,is still outstanding.
The suspect is described as male white, 30s, approximately 5'6" tall, med build, clean , short dark hair and possibly wearing a dark coloured 'T' shirt. Police are requesting any witnesses to call City Police at 705-876-1122 or crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS

Thieves Break Into Occupied Peterborough Home!
Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 suspects broke into a ground level apartment of a King Street,Peterborough residence through an unlocked window,in the early morning hours. The residents were home at the time. Once inside suspects stole two purses, a cell phone and a cell phone charger. The suspects went through the contents of the purses outside the residence and found a set of keys for a vehicle parked out front. Suspects also stole a 1997 four-door, green, Honda Accord licence plate BLMC661.
