Manvers Wind Concern Rallies Support Against Pontypool Wind Turbines

Manvers Wind Concern believes people are being mislead on the number of turbines planned for Pontypool.

Settlers Landing Pontypool wind factory has now been posted for comments until October 5, 2014. You need not live in the area, nor is there a limit to the number of times or reasons to object to the continuing degradation of the countrysides of this province THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE YOUR OPPOSITION PRIOR TO APPROVAL. Set out below are the many ways to object and the contacts that ought to be copied.
Travel a bit, and you will see that more and more of our beautiful countryside is being destroyed simply to accommodate the fiscally astute, the socially obtuse, and the politically corrupt. Please watch our website for ideas with regard to objections ,and assistance in so doing.

 So we continue to fight the Sumac Ridge Wind Factory in Bethany, and now another just down the road in Pontypool. What amounts to another phoney 5 turbine project, when in reality it is 15. Of course 15 would require setbacks of 750 metres from peoples homes..........a setback that is impossible in this populated area. So we call it 5 turbines in order to shoe horn them in. We have two options. Fight or quit. Sumac Ridge had approximately 3000 objection submissions. Lets snow them under with 4000. Make them all work for their " pieces of silver ".
