Omemee Political Career Celebrated!

Omemee Politician Gerald McGregor Celebrated Oct 19, 2014!

Sunday October 19th Omemee and District Horticultural Society aka OADHS invited people to are invited to join in celebrating the career of Gerald McGregor at the Coronation Hall.
Gerald McGregor, is recently retired from his longstanding position of councillor for Ward 15 which covers half of Omemee .

Chris Miller, the local Horticultural Society librarian, who arranged the event explained the importance of the work Gerald McGregor did for the Omemee area.
"This is our big “Thank You” to Gerald McGregor for the devoted, untiring, dedicated service that he has provided to the residents of Omemee. He and his wife Barb have also been loyal supporters of the Omemee and District Horticultural Society, they have both attended many meetings and functions plus Gerald has been a great help over the years in obtaining grants for the beautification of Omemee."   
From the many comments of some of the potential speakers on Sunday regarding Councillor McGregor’s many accomplishments in and on behalf of the village, we are sure that the residents of Omemee are truly appreciative of all that he has done.
