Omemee Memories Do You Have Omemee Memories to Share?
Omemee Memories, a closed Facebook group established in April 2014 encourages people to upload their pictures of Omemee and add comments on the photos. People can either upload their photos directly to the group or email them to the administrator, who incidentally owns the website Ontario Genealogy.Ontario Genealogy is an extensive labour of love and an excellent resource for those interested in the history of Ontario and tracking down their family roots. Created by Michael Stephenson, of Omemee, it is a treasure trove of newspaper articles, maps, telephone directories, and photographs that reveal glimpses of the past.
If you're looking for information on someone who used to live in Omemee, or Ontario, for that matter, Michael ' s Ontario Genealogy may be the best resource you will find.
