Omemee and District Horticultural Society Members Offering Kids Crafts at Lilac Festival

Sunday Noon till Four Kid Friendly Fun at Lilac Festival

Heather Grassie, and Omemee Jr, Gardener Youth Leader Linda Jenkins, will be offering great kids craft activities from noon till 4 p.m. this Sunday at the Lilac Festival Kid’s Day,
The Lilac Gardens of Lindsay, at the corner of Logie Street and Lindsay Street South, is a special project of the Lindsay and District Horticultural Society. In partnership with the City of Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Department,
Logie St. Park contains approximately 130 varieties of
lilacs. LGOL hosts the annual Lindsay Lilac Festival the last week of May. Free tours of the lilacs are given daily during the festival and the weekend comes alive with music, art, food and children's programs.
Logie Street Park, part of the Trans Canada Trail system, is less than 1 hour from the Greater Toronto Area.
