Peterborough Party Stabbing Victims Sought!

Police responded to a disturbance in the area of McDonnel and Bethune St at approximately 10:10pm on the 27th of April 2012. A short time later, a male called EMS reporting he had been assaulted and stabbed multiple times. It was determined the male had been stabbed at the rear yard of a residence on Bethune Street where the initial disturbance had been reported.
The victim of the stabbing came to the aid of a young male being assaulted. While the victim was helping this male, he was struck numerous times by a sharp object resulting in numerous wounds. As a result of profuse bleeding the victim realized he was seriously hurt and fled the area and went to a friend’s house where EMS was called.
Police believe there may be more victims who have been hurt as a result of the actions of two males who were assaulting people randomly.
Police believe these young victims may have been drinking and are reluctant to call the police. Police are asking that anyone who may have been at this party to contact the Police.
The victim has received medical attention for multiple stab wounds and is listed as being in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking that anyone who may have been at this party to contact the police.
