Alert! Salmonella Nuts Recalled
Did You Purchase These Salmonella Carrying Nuts?
Canada Food Inspection Agency recalled certain packages of Trophy Nuts in the shell, expnding the recall to all Canada.April 10, 2013 CFIA public warning issued April 4, 2013 regarding Trophy Nuts was been updated to include an additional product because this product may be contaminated with Salmonella. Previously, 450g bags of Trophy Hazlenuts in the shell were recalled for the same reason.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Trophy Foods Inc. are warning the public not to consume Trophy brand Nut Mix In Shell and Trophy brand Hazelnuts In Shell , because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. These products have been distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and may have been distributed to other provinces.
