Walk for Dog Guides Donation Advisory!
Ensure Your Donation Reaches Your Charity!
Police are warning people to be careful when opening their doors to strangers.
Donating online is one way to ensure your donation will reach your desired charity. When someone approaches you for a donation, ask how you can find their online donation link. Many parents, also prefer you make your donation online, as it ensures greater personal safety for their children.

Elizabeth Sholer, grade 10 at IE Weldon Secondary School, is one student who will be participating in the Purina Walk for Dog Guides on May 26, 2013 to help raise funds for the training and placement of Dog Guides for Canadians with visual, hearing and medical or physical disabilities.
'Please give generously to this wonderful cause,' Elizabeth writes, adding 'You can help by either joining me in this fun Walk or by giving an online gift by credit card by clicking 'Donate Now' on my Walk for Dog Guides sponsorship page.'

All Dog Guides are provided at no cost to qualified applicants. Thanks to national sponsors 100% of the funds raised at the Walk go directly to the Dog Guide training programs. The Foundation does not receive any government funding. Dog Guides Canada has already provided their specially trained Dog Guides to more than 1600 men, women and children from ages four to 88. With your help more people experience the mobility, safety and independence a devoted Dog Guide partner provides.
