April 16, 2015 at approximately 2:30 a.m. unknown person(s) broke into The Peterborough Reptile Inc. store by breaking the glass to the front door. Once inside the store, unknown person(s) stole a Leachie gecko out of a terrarium. The Leachie gecko is a large species of gecko and is light brown in colour. This type of Gecko is very rare and is one of the few in the province. The gecko is valued at $800.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Peterborough Police Service at 705-876-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or www.stopcrimhere.ca
