Bethel United Church,and Trinity United Church are holding a joint indoor Potluck Picnic following the 10:30 a.m. services at Trinity United Church 6 King Street West, Omemee, Sunday, July 31st.2011.. Come join in the camaraderie and fun! Remember to to pick up a registration form for next week’s Free VIBE summer camp while you’re there.Please bring a dish to share, your cutlery, and dishes. Come out to meet the neighbours! You may also get a chance to meet the new minister who is residing in the United church manse!
Trinity United Church is wheelchair accessible with a lift for those who have a tricky time navigating stairs.

Bethel Annual Fresh Fish Fry Dinner
Rev. Philp Advises : Reserve Your Tickets Now!
Bethel United Church Annual Fish Fry is a month earlier this year. Bethel Fish Fry Dinner, a popular local event, brings people swarming from miles around. Bethel Church dinners are well known for their generous portions, and delicious selection of homemade pies. Bethel will be serving up fresh caught Lake Trout and Whitefish. Orders must be placed in advance for the fish,so avoid disappointment by calling to reserve your tickets before noon on Monday.Dinner will be served continuously from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 1st.

Tickets for Bethel Annual Fresh Fish Fry Dinner are: Adults, $14, Children, six to 12 years, $6.

PHILP, Joseph B.D. was born on September 4, 1851 in Manvers Twp. (Durham Co.) and was the Methodist Minister at Omemee from 1860 to1870, when he went on to minister in Millbrook and numerous other parishes. He married Miss Louisa Wright Bennett of Copetown on June 11, 1875.

CGIT Meets Wednesday Night Bethel United Church
Bethel United Church Omemee Presents Canadian Girls in Training
Girls 12-17 meet each Wednesday night 6:15-7:45 p.m.at Bethel United ChurchCanadian Girls in Training (CGIT) is a program developed for girls ages 12 - 17. Girls and leaders participate in activities based on the needs and interests of the girls in keeping with the four elements of the CGIT purpose:
Cherish Health, Seek Truth, Know God, and Serve Others
Some activities CGIT groups enjoy include: music, games, Bible study, drama, banquets, parties, bike hikes, camping, guest speakers, discussions, conferences, and participation in worship services.

Bethel United Church just outside Omemee is renowned for it’s fantastic dinners with all the trimmings. The pies those ladies make! Delicious! Tonight's Beef/Pork Dinner also features a fun auction, so come prepared to join in!
Bethel United Church is One kilometre west of Fowler's Corners on Highway 7, then half a kilometre north on Bethel Road.. See our Map of Local Venues Click Here
Tickets may be available at the door. Enter the upper level using the ramp or stairs. Dinner is held in the lower level which can be accessed from the inside staircase or via the outside south side door (about 2 steps).
Tickets for tonight’s dinner are $14 Dinner starts at 7 pm!

Trinity United Church, 6 King Street West, Omemee; hosts a community finger food potluck the first Sunday of each month, and tomorrow’s the day!Come join in the fun and camaraderie after church tomorrow.
Church service starts at 11:15 a.m.
