Pulling weeds becomes a reward, when the flowers are turned into fun crowns !
Here Allie, models the Queen Anne's Lace Crown she made at the Omemee Welcome Centre,41 King Street East - just east of Omemee Foodland, beside Youngtown Museum.

Making a wild flower crown, can be easily learned in a short time.

What you need:
10 or more long-stemmed flowers
Ribbon (optional)

How to Create Your Wildflower Crown

1. Select 3 Flowers with long stems.
2. Entwine the flower heads.
3. Braid the stems.
4. As you progress in your braiding, poke another flower stem into the braid every 3rd loop, adding its stem to the braid.
5. When your braid is long enough to go around your head,  weave the stems into the beginning of the braid.
6. For extra security, you may wish to tie a ribbon around the join.

Put on your crown!
