Erratic Twigg Road Driver Charged!
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO CHARGE
A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the driver being charged with an offence under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).November 10, 2012 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP received several complaints pertaining to a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Highway 35 near Twigg Road, in the former Manvers Township.
The officer was able to locate the vehicle and the subsequent stop resulted in the driver being charged. As a result of the investigation Xing YU, 39 years of age, was charged with careless driving, contrary to the HTA.
