Omemee: Kids Basketball Program Offered!

Omemee Evening Basketball Program!

Omemee area students will enjoy basketball Monday evenings beginning January 14, 2013 thanks to Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes. Boys and girls ages 5 to 14 will be able to register for the program in three different ways:


  1.  At the Boys and Girls Club Lindsay Street South, or 
  2. Registration Night at Scott Young Public School Monday, January 7 from 6:00-8:00pm or
  3. Registrations can also be dropped off at the school office in a sealed envelope

Steve Nash Basketball
Location: Scott Young Public School, Omemee Ages: 5-8yrs, 9-11yrs, 12-14yrs
Day: Mondays starting January 14, 2013 Time: 6:00-7:00 for Ages 5-8 & 7:00-8:00 for Ages 9-11 & 8:00-9:00 for Ages 12-14
Cost: $30/person for 7 weeks & Tournament March 2 in Lindsay (Each Child receives a Basketball & Reversible Jersey) (Minimum Registration Required)
Financial Assistance options available for all participants—contact Trevor Tompkins
Registration Options: Register now at Boys & Girls Club at 107 Lindsay Street South, or Registration Night at Scott Young Public School Monday, January 7 from 6:00-8:00pm or Registrations can also be dropped off at the school office in a sealed envelope
Note: Children must be registered before they can attend program which includes completed registration form, program selection form and payment.
