Rural Libraries Offer Free Computer and e-Reader Workshops

Free Rural Computer and e-Reader Workshops

City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library offers free computer and e-reader workshops to the public, at most locations. These workshops are a free service and should not be considered professional advice; instead, are led by a CAP - community access program youth worker, who continues to learn about the changes and advances in this technology.

Individualized Computer Workshops

Computer workshops are based on personal needs. Consider bringing in some questions or declaring an area of interest when registering. Network computers do have some limitations in programs, so if you have a specific program in mind, feel free to bring in your laptop. However, internet access is limited to the network computers at Rural libraries. Have an internet question?  Lindsay, Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls are the only public libraries in the City of Kawartha Lakes offering wireless internet, at this point.
