Kawartha Lakes Flooding - Gull River Warning Remains

An MNR Flood Warning remains in effect for the Gull River system. The Trent-Severn Waterway officials are estimating it will take at least two weeks to see considerable improvement in water levels on this system. No flow adjustments are planned for the downstream portion of the Gull River today. Watershed flow will be reduced at some dams upstream in order to provide some relief to flooded areas. The Trent-Severn Waterway adjusts their water control structures in the best way to mitigate flooding within the entire Trent River system.
